Nigerian Meteorological Company (NiMet) has predicted cloudy and wet climate situations with prospects of widespread thunderstorms over most elements of the nation for Friday.
NiMet’s Climate Outlook on Thursday, in Abuja, predicted cloudy situation over the central states, with prospects of thunderstorms over Abuja, Minna, Ilorin and Kaduna within the morning.
It additionally predicted extra possibilities of thunderstorms over most locations within the area later within the day with day and night time temperatures of 34 to 36 and 18 to 27 levels Celsius.
The company predicted that northern states would expertise partly cloudy situations and thunderstorm over Yelwa axis within the morning.
Based on NiMet, southern states will expertise cloudy situations with few possibilities of rains over Yenegoa, Eket and Calabar within the morning hours.
“Widespread thunderstorms are anticipated over this area within the afternoon and night interval with day and night time temperatures of 33 to 35 and 23 to 25 levels celsius.
“Partly cloudy situations are probably over the northern elements of the nation.
“Nevertheless, there are prospects of widespread thunderstorms and rains over elements of the central and southern states within the subsequent 72 hours,” it added.
